Jason M. Ricci, MD

Jason M. Ricci, MD, received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. He completed his internal medicine residency at Washington University in St. Louis, Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology fellowships at William Beaumont Hospitals in Royal Oak, Michigan, and most recently, a VIVA Endovascular Fellowship at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, California.
Dr. Ricci is board certified in Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Endovascular Medicine, Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Internal Medicine. He is board eligible in Vascular Medicine.
In addition to comprehensive cardiac care, Dr. Ricci’s interests include Percutaneous patent foramen ovale (PFO) and atrial septal defect (ASD) closure, carotid stenting, endovascular limb salvage therapies, and aortic stent grafting for abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysms. He is actively involved in clinical research and has recently initiated a clinical trial evaluating a novel technique to reduce the risk of stroke with carotid stenting in symptomatic lesions. Northern Michigan Regional Hospital is a participating center and is actively recruiting patients.
