Gerald A. Gadowski, DO
Gerald A. Gadowski, DO was born in Highland Park, Michigan, to Dr.
Raymond Gadowski, a physician, and Virginia Buszek, a pharmacist. He is
the youngest of three boys, all of whom are now cardiologists. He was
raised in Franklin, Michigan and graduated from W.E. Groves High School.
He received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University. Dr. Gadowski attended Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, became
board-certified in internal medicine, and practiced in the Detroit area
for three years. He then did a cardiology fellowship and was Chief
Fellow at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He was in private
practice for 17 years in suburban Detroit and was Director of Cardiology
at Oakland St. Johns Hospital in Madison Heights.
Since moving to
northern Michigan in 2001, Dr. Gadowski has been in group practice with
Michigan Heart & Vascular Specialists. He is board certified in
cardiology and nuclear medicine cardiology. In his spare time, Dr.
Gadowski enjoys living on Crooked Lake with his wife, Sharon, and two
sons, Zachary and Nicholas. His many past times include fishing, skiing,
ham radio and being a “hockey dad”. Dr. Gadowski sees patients in
Cheboygan and once a month in Rogers City.
